The above list is not restrictive. The type of sources I translate ranges from the "mere" advertising slogans to the most thorough technical documentations. It includes user guides, instructions leaflets, brochures, press articles, scientific reviews, technical guides, contracts, administrative correspondence, etc.

Proofreading and linguistic revision

The proofreading process allows to proof the grammar and typography (spelling, punctuation and syntax) of the target document.

The linguistic revision process implies a deeper analysis allowing to check the style, the word sense accuracy, the global coherence of the text.

According to the norm EN 15038:2006 (requirements for translation service providers), the proofreading process only involves the verification of a traslated version with no access to the source text; the revision process involves the comparison between the source text and the translated version.

XHTML/CSS coding and Web development

If your project is designed for the Web, I can carry out the XHTML/CSS coding of the translated contents. If the end product is a complex web application, my skills in javascript/actionscript (Flash), PHP, SQL and Java come in handy.
